Using Refill

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 25, 2026

These Terms apply to your use of Refill. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app does

Refill is a personal organization tool for recording bill dates, recurring schedules, estimated amount ranges, payment notes, and receipt images. You may also compare bill dates with income dates that you enter and choose to receive optional local reminders.

Refill does not connect to financial institutions, retrieve account information, initiate or process payments, provide lending or credit services, or offer financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The app does not show a verified account balance.

2. Your entries and decisions

You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking bill terms, due dates, and final amounts with the biller. Amount ranges and summaries are based on your entries and may be incomplete or out of date. They are planning references, not a guarantee of a charge, available funds, or payment status at a biller.

Reminders depend on your settings and iOS availability. They may be delayed, disabled, or not delivered. Keep any records or reminders you need to meet your obligations.

3. Images, notes, and voice input

You choose which images and text to add. You must have the rights and permission needed to use any content you provide. Before attaching an image, review it for details you do not want to keep with a bill or payment record.

Voice dictation uses Apple's speech recognition services and is subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. See our Privacy Policy for details about information handled by system features.

4. Your records and deletion

You can update bill details or remove a bill in the app. Removing a bill also removes its associated payment records and receipt images. Refill does not provide a separate account or online recovery service for those records. Apple device backup settings may affect whether information remains in a device backup.

5. Acceptable use

Use Refill lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, or use the app to infringe another person's rights. We may change, suspend, or discontinue app features when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.

6. Availability and warranties

The app is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every personal situation. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Refill and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including missed or changed bill dates, inaccurate entries, or reminders that are not delivered. This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Apple App Store terms

These Terms supplement the terms that apply to your App Store download, including Apple's standard end user license agreement where applicable. Apple is not responsible for Refill or its maintenance and support. If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable license terms and may enforce those terms after you accept them.

Read Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Continued use after revised Terms are made available means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
